Huron Park

As you can see from the illustration below Franklin street is turned back into a two way street with a turn lane and Warren Street is widened as well to accomodate diagonal parking. With the addition of a parking lot installed next to Franklin Street 190 diagonal parking spaces are created. We envision this facility as a children's facility that may hold a large shallow pool. 

This park area helps create a profit corridor for advertising along Monroe Street. At Route 6 on the west end of town, at Columbus Street on the South Side of town and on Warren street on the east side.... signs will be posted as a shortcut to Cedar Point and Castaway bay increasing traffic along this corridor and its very valuable advertising potential.

Public Restrooms and numerous additional trash receptacles will help maintain the appearance of the park during large events as this park will be used as a shuttle bus stop for the events center located in Central Park. If the Geothermal utility is approved the Pool facility can be financed with the profits from the utility.

The road surface reduced by the three parks more than makes up for the additional parking created so no green space is actually lost.
